I've been finding Grammarly useful (also on the free version). I've been using it since summer of last year and find that I can often correct some of the advanced issues just from getting a feel for what it's looking for.

I've always said I'll take a punt on the paid version if I ever make an income from writing. As an enthusiastic amateur, free Grammarly is good enough for me!
